Encryption & PKI Practitioner Course

3-day Introduction course Encryption

Learn the basics of encryption in three days

Introduction

Cryptographic protocols such as Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), Virtual Private Network (VPN) and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) are used frequently. In this introductory course, you will learn about various cryptographic techniques and how to apply them.

As a security professional you will certainly come across encryption protocols, such as VPN and SSL. If your organisation uses, or plans to use, mobile devices, network encryption is especially important. In this course, you will learn what encryption is, and how the various techniques can best be used. You will be able to talk to network specialists about encryption technologies and advise your organisation on the best use of those technologies. The Encryption and PKI Practitioner course clearly explains encryption and focuses on the practical application of encryption, without going too deeply into the mathematics or the technical details.

This course is aimed at those who are or expect to be involved in implementing or using encryption, and those who are willing to learn more about network technologies.
